Examples of off-centre B110 drive units are not uncommon and may possibly be "cured" by running the speaker upside down or turning the B110 on the baffle.
Has anybody done the above? What was the sonic effect? How long is the "curing" period? Thanks in advance for the info.

What I did was to turn the board where the drivers are attached upside down. As such, I did not have to detach and reattach the B110. Also the speaker still looked right side up. I kept it in this position for about 4 months. Frankly, I did not hear much difference in sound before, during and after the upside down period. Any sound difference I may have perceived was probably due to the fact that I knew the tweeters were below the mid/bass drivers.

It depends on your sitting position viz the LS tweeters. If I recall the stereophile review & analysis correctly, they pointed out that the optimum position would be for the tweeter to be higher than the listener's ear.

May we suppose that the off-center B110 are in fact B110 that of suffered from something: shocks, or too much power and heat?
Long life to the B110s, but some collapse from time to time.
